- The Real George Wythe
- I became interested in this subject when a relative of mine blew through her college savings at George Wythe College before realizing she had little to show for the time and money spent there. When I looked into the school and its founders, things smelled fishy, so I kept digging. Putting the pieces together on the history of George Wythe College has become somewhat of a hobby for me. The purpose of this blog is to share what I have found. Why am I anonymous? I don't want this blog to define me. I'm providing it as a service. I will however reveal that I am a church-going Mormon and am not opposed to quality (in the mold of The Well Trained Mind) homeschooling. My name is a play on a book series by Skousen's National Center for Constitutional Studies that includes such titles as The Real Thomas Jefferson and The Real George Washington.

Given how other posts generate threads of focused interest, I wonder whether this one will really go anywhere. Perhaps we can discuss technical problems here. For example, I realize that moderation has been enabled to prevent spam, but why is it consistently taking up to four days (or longer) to see regular posts appear? Do comments really need to remain in purgatory that long? Won't that just invite people to repost redundantly as they assume their post was either lost or ignored? Just wondering.
That's a good point Felidae. Sorry for the delay in approving; I only check this blog a few times a week, if that. I'll try to be more prompt.
